Organize your KAR and MID files into playlists and play them at your karaoke parties. Customize the lyrics windows by changing the background image, the font used or its color and the number of lines being displayed at a time.
Formerly released as 'vanBasco's MIDI Player,' vanBasco's Karaoke Player plays Karaoke (.kar) and standard MIDI (.mid) files. It has a fully customizable Karaoke window where you can change fonts, colors, number of lines and background image; also lyrics can be displayed in a resizable window or full-screen. The player lets you change tempo, volume, and key. You can mute or play solo individual (i.e., arbitrary) selections of instruments. Changes can be saved to the playlist so that they are remembered in the future. There is a real-time MIDI output window that shows notes, volumes, and instrument. The additional piano view displays notes on a big piano keyboard. The player has an easy-to-use intuitive graphical user-interface with skin support and supports integration with Netscape and Microsoft web-browsers.
